Partnering with Solutex to Sponsor the Mind-Body Interface International Symposium: Supporting Young Scholars in Advancing Research
The 14th Mind-Body Interface International Symposium, organized by the Mind-Body Interface Research Center of China Medical University Hospital, was held grandly from October 19 to 21, 2024, at the Shui-Nan campus of China Medical University in Taichung. Centered around the theme "Minds & Megabytes: Optimizing Mental Health in the Digital Age," the symposium delved into the integration of neuroscience, psychiatry, and technology, driving cutting-edge research in brain and mental health on a global scale.
This year, Nutrarex Biotech co-sponsored the symposium in partnership with Solutex, a leading global fish oil manufacturer based in Spain. To highlight the event’s significance, the organizing committee introduced the Overseas Travel Award to support outstanding young international scholars. The award went to Dr. Elisa Mombelli from Italy, who presented her groundbreaking research on October 20. Her study, focusing on the application of nutritional regulation in neurodegenerative diseases, offered fresh perspectives and advanced our understanding of brain and mental health!
Dr. Kuan-Pin Su, Professor of Psychiatry at China Medical University and founder of the Taiwan Society of Nutritional Psychiatry Research, established the foundational role of fish oil in brain and mental health as early as 2018. His research demonstrated that high concentrations of EPA and DHA significantly enhance brain function.
